FireZone 92 - Riverside Market, Christchurch

RIVERSIDE MARKET, CHRISTCHURCH; THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF THE TIMBER CEILINGS BRINGS THE INNER FOODCOURT AREA OUTDOORS.

The Collective, a micro-community of small merchants exists under the shelter of Riverside Market, perched along-side the Avon River.

The building is a public display floor area which has 21 leasable spaces overall.

Zone Architectural Products and Jeff Dermott Ltd were engaged to provide the FRR intumescent coatings compliance on the steel structure and a Group Rating on the internal surface timber linings.

The dense reclaimed rimu timber ceiling required a Group 1S. FireZone 92 was selected as a clear coating system based off a site specific sample provided to the architect. Darrell and his team applied Firezone 92 onsite.  

The result is stunning and the shopping experience, very pleasurable!
